3. Content & Accuracy

  • WarSignal aggregates information from third-party sources. While we employ multi-source verification, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy of all reported events.
  • Verification tiers (Corroborated, Reported, Unverified) indicate our confidence level, not certainty.
  • WarSignal content should not be used as the sole basis for safety decisions in active conflict zones. Always consult official government travel advisories and security professionals.

4. Permitted Use

You may:

  • Access and browse WarSignal freely
  • Share links to event pages and our tracker
  • Use our data for research, journalism, or academic purposes with proper attribution ("Source: WarSignal Editorial Intelligence")
  • Embed our widget on your website using the provided embed code

5. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data without authorization
  • Use our API beyond published rate limits
  • Redistribute our content without attribution
  • Use WarSignal data to plan, facilitate, or support violence
  • Misrepresent WarSignal content or claim authorship

6. Intellectual Property

Original editorial summaries, data visualizations, and the WarSignal platform are protected by copyright. Source articles remain the property of their respective publishers. Our verification analysis and curated summaries are original editorial work.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

WarSignal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, accuracy of all data points, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

WarSignal and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our platform, including but not limited to decisions made based on our reported information.
